TG TET Exam Analysis 2026 Live: Check Difficulty Level & Memory Based Questions

Each question in TG TET carries one mark. Since there are 150 questions, candidates can score a maximum of 150 marks in either paper. Candidates should remember that there is no negative marking in TG TET. Even if a candidate answers incorrectly, no marks are deducted, making it advantageous to attempt all questions.

All questions in TG TET 2026 are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question has four alternatives, out of which only one option is correct.

In Paper-I, Mathematics includes both content and pedagogy questions. Out of 30 questions, 24 are based on subject content while the remaining questions assess teaching methodologies and classroom application of mathematical concepts.

Regardless of the medium or Language-I selected, English is compulsory as Language-II for all TG TET candidates. The section tests grammar, communication skills, comprehension ability, and language pedagogy.

Candidates appearing for Paper-I can choose from Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Gujarati as Language-I, provided they satisfy the prescribed educational requirements.

Candidates must select Language-I based on the language they studied either as a medium of instruction or first language up to Class X. Choosing an eligible language is essential as it directly impacts the validity of candidature.

The candidates who are going to appear for TG TET Paper 1 today, the exam will start at 09:00 am. The exam will be conducted in online mode and will be of 2 hours 30 minutes duration, which means the exam will end at 11:30 am.

The Child Development and Pedagogy section evaluates candidates understanding of educational psychology relevant to primary and upper-primary teaching. Questions assess concepts related to learning processes, teaching strategies, and child development principles.

Paper-I consists of five compulsory sections: Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each section carries 30 marks, taking the total paper score to 150 marks.

TG TET 2026 is being conducted in two shifts every examination day. The morning session runs from 09:00 am to 11:30 am, while the afternoon session is held from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre well before reporting time, as late entry after commencement of the test is not permitted.

The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) June 2026 is being conducted over five days between June 16 and June 22 in a total of 10 examination sessions.
