Maharashtra HSC exam 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is holding the Maharashtra Board HSC Exams 2025-26. Reportedly, alleged mass copying was noticed on the first day of the HSC exams, i.e. February 10, 2026.
This led to the suspension of five teachers after they were allegedly caught after drone surveillance, helping class 12 students to cheat at a centre in Maharashtra’s Beed district. Upon further investigation, 12 more faculty members were found under scrutiny under mass copying situations during the board examination.
Maharashtra Board HSC Exam 2026 Cheating Incident
On the first day of the exam, drone cameras caught massive cheating at a Maharashtra HSC board exam center in Chousala. The footage showed copying in 16 exam halls where supervisors were found helping the students cheat. As a result, 5 teachers were suspended, 12 faculty members are under investigation, and police cases were filed against those involved, including 17 teachers and the exam center in charge.
