India AI Impact Summit 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Summit on 16 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The five-day global summit is scheduled to run till 20 February 2026. Building upon the momentum of the global AI Summit series built at the Bletchley Park Summit (2023), the AI Seoul Summit (2024) and the Paris AI Action Summit (2025), India is hosting the fourth iteration of the event. India's AI Summit is the first-ever global AI summit to be hosted in the Global South.
PM Modi, earlier in a post on X, tweeted the theme of the summit, which is "Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya", which translates to "welfare for all, happiness for all". The theme reflects India's commitment to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) for human-centric progress.

Conclusion
Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in a report, said the Indian AI market is expected to surpass $17 billion by 2027, making it one of the fastest growing AI economies globally.
The report furthered highlighted that India has a thriving AI ecosystem with over 600,000 AI professionals, 700 million internet users, and a surge in AI startups, the nation makes up 16 per cent of the world's AI talent.
