The men's team defeated Pakistan by 19 runs in the final to retain its Asian Games title.
5. Hockey – 2 Gold Medals
India won gold in both men's and women's hockey.
The Indian women's hockey team defeated China 1-0 to win gold. It was India's first Asian Games women's hockey gold in 44 years.
The Indian men's hockey team defeated Malaysia 5-1 in the final. This was India's fifth men's hockey gold at the Asian Games and also secured direct qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
