NEET Re-exam 2026: NTA Issues Advisory, WhatsApp and SMS Alerts, Clarification on Admit Card

NTA NEET Re-Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency, ahead of the re-exam scheduled for June 21, 2026, has sent SMS reminders, emails and WhatsApp notifications to candidates appearing for the exams to download the admit cards for the exams. Students have also been warned about fraudulent communications ahead of the exams. 

NEET UG re-exam 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026. The exam was earlier conducted on May 3, 2026, which was cancelled following a paper leak and a continued probe by the CBI.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), NTA has notified students to download their NEET UG 2026 admit card. The link to download the admit card is available on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The admit cards were issued on June 14, 2026. 

Candidates who are yet to download the admit cards are advised to download the PDF before the exams to avoid any last-minute hassle.

NTA has also clarified that the SMS messages are sent from the sender ID NICPEP and the emails will be from no-reply.neet.nta@nic.in. Students are also advised to access their NEET UG 2026 admit cards only from the official website. 

NTA further added that it will not request payment, share exam papers or answer key or provide the admit cards through link. If candidates receive any such messages they are advised not to click on the link and report the same.

NTA also added that it is now using WhatsApp to send Exam updates and centre information for the re-examination. Only messages from verified accounts with a blue tick and name National Testing Agency should be considered authentic and any account without verification even it it uses the NTA name is not official. 

NTA has clarified that the WhatsApp services are broadcast only channel and will not ask candidates to reply, share OTP or personal details or make any payments. Such requests must be treated as fraud. 

NTA also stressed that candidates who have downloaded their admit card for the exams need not download them again. The admit cards issued for the May 3, 2026 exams are not valid and candidates have been assigned new centres, NTA further added.
