Through this recruitment drive, a total of 28,740 vacancies will be filled for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak posts. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and meet the required conditions can complete their registrations through the GDS Online Engagement Portal — indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the registration process for India Post GDS Vacancy 2026 will close on February 14. However, the deadline for submission of GDS application form is February 16. The application correction facility will be provided from February 18 to 19.

India Post GDS Photo and Signature Size
While uploading the documents candidates must ensure that GDS Photo and Sign size and format are correct. The photograph should be 320×400 pixels and size should range from 30 KB to 100 KB. On the other hand, the signature size must be from 20 KB to 100 KB and dimensions are 300×120 pixels.
