CBSE Revaluation 2026: Rechecking Process Begins From 1st June, Fee and Re-Evaluation Portal, All Details Need to Know

CBSE students looking to apply for copy verification must wait until June 1, 2026, when the official designated portal goes active. For immediate support regarding post-result procedures, students are advised to call the toll-free support line at 1800 11 8004.

Candidates are required to submit the fee for the re-evaluation process. The fee structure for the process is given below: 

• Stage 1: Obtaining a Scanned Copy of Answer Sheets - Rs 100 per subject
• Stage 2: Verification of Marks / Issues Observed - Rs 100 per subject
• Stage 3: Re-evaluation / Rechecking - Rs 25 per question

Alongside rescheduling the portal launch to June 1, CBSE has released dedicated contact channels for students seeking clarification on the evaluation process. Students can instantly connect with officials via the Tele-Counseling Helpline at 1800 11 8004 or email their concerns directly to resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in. 

In an official statement, CBSE said that the verification and re-evaluation portal will switch live on June 1, 2026. The delayed rollout aims to secure the highest assessment standards, allowing the board to offer a seamless, secure, and clear system for re-checking candidate answer books.

The CBSE has announced that its Post-Result Activities portal for answer book verification and re-evaluation will now become operational from June 1, 2026. The board stated this brief schedule adjustment is to guarantee a transparent, completely glitch-free application process for students.

As per earlier notifications released by the board, the application link for verification and re-evaluation is expected to be activated today on the official portal. Students who have already downloaded the scanned copies of their answer sheets will be able to log in using their existing credentials and apply.

To apply for CBSE revaluation, visit the official website and log in to obtain a scanned copy of your answer book. Select your application type (Verification of Marks, Re-evaluation, or both), then choose specific subjects or questions for review. After verifying all details, pay the required fee online, submit the form, and save your confirmation for future reference.

Once all the relevant details are filled in, candidates are required to submit the fee for the re-evaluation or verification process. The fee structure for the same is given below

Candidates applying for the answer sheet re-evaluation process need to keep in mind the following points

1. Students can raise objections only for those subjects whose scanned copies of the answer sheets have been requested. In case a student has not requested and obtained the answer sheet of a particular subject, he/she cannot request re-evaluation of any answer of that subject. 

2. There is no limit on the number of questions a student can request re-evaluation.

3. Students can opt for re-evaluation of multiple questions across multiple subjects - subject to payment of the fees

4. Re-evaluation is done only for the specific questions, and during this process, the totalling of marks or assessments for any other question is not done

5. Obtaining scanned copies does not automatically signal initiation of the re-evaluation process; Students/ parents must raise the request again on the online portal once it opens

6. Same registration information and login information has to be used for the re-evaluation process as was created for obtaining the scanned copies

7. CBSE can both increase or decrease the marks awarded for the specific question during the re-evaluation of that particular question - final decision rests with the board

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan confirmed the launch of CBSE's first digital revaluation system for Class 12 exams, designed for greater transparency. The monumental effort encompasses 17 lakh students, 98 lakh answer copies, and 40 crore scanned pages.

So far, 4 lakh students have accessed 11 lakh copies to verify marks or raise queries. The initiative, supported by IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, and four PSU banks, is backed by the government's pledge of full accountability to resolve all student concerns, despite acknowledging some discrepancies.
