The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to provide scanned copies of answer sheets evaluated by the board to students on the DigiLocker platform in addition to their digital mark sheets from the upcoming academic year.

By providing answer sheets to students, CBSE will ensure that students have access to their response sheet along with the marks awarded and any comments made by teachers for analysis. This can help students take the decision regarding whether to undergo the re-evaluation of answer sheets or utilize them for further preparations.

CBSE will upload scanned, officially stamped versions of answer sheets to DigiLocker accounts of individual students. The facility will be provided only to those appearing in regular board exams; CBSE will come out with instructions for compartment candidates as well as others.

Validity of the Uploaded Documents on Digilocker

Uploaded documents by CBSE on DigiLocker shall contain digital signatures/verification marks in order to avoid tampering of any kind.

DigiLocker’s secure system along with user identity verification (through Aadhaar/mobile number) shall guarantee that only the concerned student or authorized personnel can access his/her document.

Students need to either create a new account on DigiLocker or verify their existing accounts by linking their mobile number or registration at the concerned school. Login details need to be kept safe while downloading copies of the document as soon as it is available.

In case of re-evaluation, students must follow CBSE guidelines with the help of the digitized answer sheet in order to ask specific queries.

CBSE shall publish a circular detailing precise timelines and procedure for the same.
