The UP Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Yojana is launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide a free scooty to the meritorious female students who score 75% or higher in the UP Board Class 12 examinations.

To claim this scheme, the applicant must apply to register under this scheme. The entire process of this application is available only online. There is no provision for offline application for this scheme.

Objective

This scheme usually helps those families who are poor and not able to send their girls to higher education due to long distances.

So, the main objective of this scheme is to encourage the meritorious female students by providing a transportation facility enabling them to attend the college, which is located at a distance from their house.

Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

3. Studying either in a government school or government-aided school

4. Family annual income must be less than ₹2.5 lakh per annum.

To apply for the UP Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Yojana 2026, applicants must follow these steps:

1. First, visit the official portal of UP Rashtriya Parivarik Labh Yojana (https://scholarship.up.gov.in/)

2. Click on the new registration on the UPRani Laxmi Bai Scooty Yojana home page.

3. Fill out the application with your applicant names, date of birth, father’s name, and Aadhaar number.

4. Upload all the documents: 12th certificate, Income certificate, upload the photo

5. Submit your application. You will receive an Application ID. Keep it safe.

6. Get it verified from the school principal

7. After the release of the final list, the selected girls' students get the key of the scooty.
