The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially released the schedule for the Sub Inspector (Civil Police) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2026. The exam will be conducted from June 29 to July 1, 2026. Qualified candidates can download their mandatory PET admit cards online roughly seven days before the test.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow, has officially rolled out the UP Police SI PET Exam Date 2026 schedule. This Physical Efficiency Test (PET) represents the final on-field obstacle in securing one of the 4543 vacant Sub-Inspector posts across the state’s civil police divisions. As per the official notification of the Board, the Physical screening will be held at the dedicated state centres starting from June 29 and will continue till July 1, 2026.

As mentioned in the official notification, candidates will be able to download the Admit Card for the PET test for the UP Police SI PET Exam 7 days before the exam is scheduled. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is strictly qualifying in nature. The candidates will not receive any extra marks for running faster than their peers. However, in the case where the candidates fail to touch the finishing line within the official time limit, it will lead to instant disqualification from the selection process. Given below is the passing criteria for both male and female candidates:-
- For Male Candidates: They must successfully run a total distance of 4.8 kilometres within strict time limits of 28 minutes.
- For Female Candidates: They must complete a total distance of 2.4 kilometres within a strict time limit of 16 minutes.

To ensure that the entry for the PET exam for the UP Police SI Exam 2026 goes smoothly at the designated police stadium gates, candidates must make sure that they carefully follow these steps:-
- Download the specific hall ticket as soon as the admit card link goes live. Candidates are advised to print two copies of the Admit Card. The board will use an automated barcode scan at the gate entry point to sync with their electronic tracking ankle chips.
- If the initial Document Verification (DV) was cleared under the Provisional tag due to a pending certificate clarification, they are still permitted to run. However, the final rank positioning remains subject to the board’s permanent legal review.
- Along with the printed PET hall ticket, you must physically present a valid government-issued photo identification card, such as an original Aadhaar Card or Voter ID, matching the registered data.
