RRB JE Syllabus 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently announced the RRB JE Exam 2026, which will fill 2,588 posts for positions such as Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant. RRB JE Syllabus 2026
RRB JE Syllabus 2026 consists of two papers known as CBT 1 and CBT 2. In CBT 1 paper, the syllabus includes topics such as Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and General Science. Technical Abilities related to engineering subjects constitute the CBT 2 paper. The exam for CBT 1 was conducted on 19th, 20th, and 25th February 2026. CBT 2 paper exam is to be conducted on 2nd July 2026. There will be -1/3 marks deducted for every incorrect response. RRB JE Exam Pattern 2026
The examination for the RRB Junior Engineer comprises of two Computer Based Tests (CBT), namely CBT-1 and CBT-2. While CBT-1 tests the candidate's general knowledge and basic aptitude, CBT-2 tests the candidate based on the technical subjects related to his/her engineering stream. The duration of CBT-1 and CBT-2 examinations is 90 and 120 minutes respectively, comprising of 100 and 150 questions respectively. A negative marking of 1/3rd marks is provided for each wrong answer in the exam.
