UGC NET Exam Analysis 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET June 2026 examination for 87 subjects from 22 June to 30 June 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on a day-to-day basis for different subjects. The UGC NET exam consists of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2, and the exam is being held in a single shift for both the papers. There will be no break between the two papers. The NTA is conducting the examination in online mode (Computer-Based Test).
The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted to assess the eligibility of the candidates for three positions: Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions. The candidates qualifying the UGC NET exam will be eligible for these posts depending on the basis of the eligibility criteria for each of these posts.

The UGC NET exam is underway today, and Shift 1 examination will be concluding at 12:00 pm. The candidates who are appearing for the Shift 1 exam for subjects such as Visual Art, Museology & Conservation, Punjabi, Tamil, Geography, Marathi, Labour Welfare/HRM, and Santali can check the exam analysis once the exam gets over.
