The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Group D Answer Key on 17 February 2026. The exam result is expected to be released in the month of April.

Around 10,822,423 candidates have applied for the RRB Group D CEN NO. 08/2024 exam for 32,438 vacancies. The RRB Group D result is expected soon. Meanwhile, the candidates can read the details for the exam here.

• Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
• Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance

• Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and
• Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance

The candidates will be shortlisted for the RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test round based on their performance in the CBT. It is mandatory for the candidates to pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and also the round is qualifying in nature.

The candidates who will qualify the RRB Group D CBT stage will be eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is the next stage of the selection process.

There is no way that a candidate can check their result in the offline mode as the Railway Recruitment Board releases the RRB Group D result only in online mode.

The RRB is expected to release the RRB Group D result anytime soon. However, there is no official information available on the release date of the result. Therefore, the candidates must stay tuned to this blog for the live updates. We will provide the direct link to download the result as soon as it is made available.

The RRB Group D CBT exam was conducted from 27 November 2025 to 10 February 2026. Now, the candidates are awaiting their result.

RRB Group D recruitment consists of a three-stage selection process which includes:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Document Verification (DV)/ Medical Examination

In order to download the result, the candidates are required to enter their registration number and date of birth. The result will not be sent to any candidate in a hard copy format by the Board or through email. It can only be downloaded from the official website and regional websites of RRB.
