Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially opened the online application process for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D 2026. The registration window is available from June 19 to July 3, 2026, and thousands of aspirants across the state are getting their documents ready to apply through the One-Time Registration (OTR) portal. However, qualifying for the exam is only half the battle. Uploading outdated or incorrect documents is one of the most common reasons student applications face immediate rejection during the document verification process.

To make sure that the application process of the interested candidates goes smoothly, they should follow this quick guide to avoid getting rejected at the application submission stage:-

• Candidates must pay close attention to the BCA, BCB, and EWS certificates. Because the financial year refreshes in April, the commission explicitly requires these to be issued on or after April 1, 2026. Older papers will not be accepted.
• When the candidate is uploading their files to the OTR portal, keep the files formatted cleanly as clear PDFs or JPEGS. Avoid blurry phone pictures and use a proper scanner so that the digital signature and issuing authority’s stamps remain perfectly readable.
• Candidates should be mindful of the important timeline. While the application forms close on July 3, 2026, the last day to deposit the fees online is July 6, 2026. Furthermore, an online correction or edit gate will open briefly from July 7 to July 9, 2026, to clean up any unintentional spelling mistakes.
