HP Police Constable Recruitment 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will close the online application process for the HP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 today September 5, 2026. Through this recruitment a total of 734 Police Constable posts will be filled through the official HPPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal. The recruitment includes 491 posts for male candidates and 243 posts for female candidates. Candidates must submit their applications by 11:59 PM today.

HP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who will apply for the HP Police Constable posts must have passed Matriculation and Class 12 (+2) from a school or board situated within Himachal Pradesh. 

The age limit depends on the candidate's category. For general and EWS candidates, the age limit is 18 to 25 years while certain reserved categories have an upper age limit of 27 years. Home Guard candidates have upper age limit of 28 years.

Candidates must also fulfil the physical standards and other eligibility requirements mentioned in the respective male and female recruitment notifications.

• Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if not done
