UP Board Compartment and Improvement Exam Schedule OUT at upmsp.edu.in; Exams Begin July 28
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the schedule for Class 10th and 12th compartment and improvement exams for academic year 2026-27. According to the schedule, the HS and Inter Improvement/Compartment exams are slated to begin from July 28, 2026 for students who failed to secure the minimum passing marks in one or two subjects in final annual board examinations.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj has shared the schedule for Class 10th and 12th compartment and improvement exams for academic year 2026-27 in an announcement post on their dedicated X account. According to the schedule, the High School Improvement/Compartment and Intermediate Compartment exams are slated to begin from July 28, 2026. The examinations are held for students who failed to secure the minimum passing marks in one or two subjects in their final annual board examinations.
The High School Improvement/Compartment Examinations will begin from July 28, 2026, in the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. The Intermediate Compartment Examinations will be held from July 28, 2026, in the evening shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. The examinations will be held at examination centers designated by the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) at the district headquarters.
UP Board Compartment/Improvement 2026: Instructions for Conduct of Examination
The District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) allotted at the district headquarters will ensure the following arrangements are in place at the examination centers:
- The entry of outsiders other than the candidates, centre administrator, teachers and non-teaching staff is prohibited at the examination centre.
- They will ensure that unnecessary crowds of candidates do not gather at the entrance of the examination center. Similar arrangements should be made after the examination is over.
- Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying mobile phones, smart watches or any other electronic devices inside the examination hall.
- During the examination, CCTV cameras with voice recorders and routers etc. will remain fully functional in the rooms.
- All arrangements for the storage of question papers at the exam centers will be made in the same double-locked cupboards in the designated strong room. The strong room will be under 24x7 surveillance by CCTV cameras equipped with voice recorders. Question paper packets will be opened and distributed under CCTV surveillance in the presence of the center administrator, external center administrator, and static magistrate.
- School Principals will download the admit cards of registered candidates from the website of the Council at upmsp.edu.in, countersign them and make them available to the concerned candidates.
- Candidates are advised to reach the examination center at least 45 minutes before the start of the examination on the scheduled date, so that arrangements can be made to seat the candidates in the examination halls in a planned and controlled manner.
