The assessment, expected to take place in June-July 2026, seeks to award the institution a Letter of Permission for admitting a batch of 150 students for the MBBS course. The effort, spearheaded by Dr. Nazir Ahmad, the Dean and Principal of Kashmir Medical College, seeks to ensure that the new institution becomes a top-notch medical super specialty hospital in addition to becoming a learning academy.
