IGNOU Extends Assignment Deadline for June 2026 TEE: New Date for GOAL & EVBB Learners

IGNOU LMS Upload: A substantial extension for the submission of assignments related to the June 2026 Term End Examinations (TEE) has been formally announced by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The deadline has been moved to April 30, 2026, according to the university's official announcement, giving thousands of students much-needed respite. Students enrolled in all streams including Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and other online programs are fully covered by this extension. Importantly, worldwide and specialized digital projects like GOAL (Guyana Online Academy of Learning) and EVBB (E-VidyaBharati), which serve a global student base, are expressly covered by the updated timeframe.

To remain eligible for the upcoming June examinations, students must ensure they submit their assignments in both hard copy and soft copy formats as per their specific programme requirements. Online learners use the dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) portal, whilst ODL students usually turn in hard copies to their local Study Centers. 

The university's choice to extend the date demonstrates its dedication to adaptability and recognizes the practical difficulties experienced by students in various geographic regions. In order to prevent technical issues on the submission portals, candidates are urged not to wait until the last day. How to Upload on the LMS Portal?

To upload the assignment on the LMS portal, follow these steps given below:

• Use your special enrollment credentials to access the official IGNOU LMS portal at lms.ignouonline.ac.in.

• Click on the particular subject to submit after navigating to the "My Courses" tab.

• Click "Add Submission" after locating the "Assignment" link in the course module.

• Make sure you scan your handwritten assignment into a single, readable PDF that is less than 10 MB in size.

• Use the file picker or simply drag and drop your PDF file into the submission box.

• Click "Save Changes" and confirm that "Submitted for grading" is now accurately displayed in the status.
