The former New Zealand captain holds the record for the highest score in T20 World Cup history. He smashed 123 runs against Bangladesh in 2012. His innings included 11 fours and 7 sixes. He used a massive strike rate of 212.06 to dominate the bowlers.
2. Chris Gayle (117 runs)

The "Universe Boss" set the stage in the very first T20 World Cup match in 2007. Playing against South Africa, Gayle scored a brilliant 117 runs. He was the first player to hit a century in this tournament. He cleared the boundary ten times during this knock.
3. Alex Hales (116* runs)
