As Assam gears up for the 2026 Assembly Elections, checking if your name is included in the updated voters list is vital for all eligible voters. 

The Assam Voter List 2026, which has just been published after special revision by the election authority, includes new registrations, deletions and corrections to the state’s electoral rolls.

If you are a new voter, have moved to a new address, or just want to verify your information is correct, verifying your name online allows you to be prepared to vote at the polls this upcoming year. 

Using electronic resources provided by the Election Commission of India allows registered voters to look up their name easily from home with either their personal information or their voter ID.

How to Check Your Name Online?

There are several official online portals through which you can find out if your name is in the Assam Voter List 2026: 

National Voter Service Portal (NVSP)

• The NVSP is a Central Government website created for Indian voters to look-up electoral rolls: 

• The website is: www.electoralsearch.eci.gov.in 

• You must select "Assam" from the drop-down list of states 

• You will be required to enter your Name, Father's/Husband's Name, Age/Date of Birth, Gender.

• If you wish to expedite the search, you may also use your EPIC (Voter ID) number. 

• You will need to enter the "CAPTCHA" correctly and then click "Search." You will see your details and where to vote.

The NVSP will show if you are registered to vote in the current Assam electoral roll, and where your polling booth is located.

 Search by Your Mobile Number

If you have linked your mobile number to your voter ID (EPIC), you can search using the NVSP portal:

• Go to the NVSP website and select "Search by Mobile".

• Provide your mobile number.

• Verify your OTP.

• View your voter information instantly.

Download an Electoral Roll PDF

You can download a Voter List by parts from the Chief Electoral Officer of Assam website:

• Go to "ceoassam.nic.in".

• Under "Final Electoral Roll / Draft Roll", Click on the PDF link.

• Select your District, Assembly Constitution, Polling Station.

• Download the PDF to view all names registered at that polling booth.

Using the Voter Helpline App

The official Voter Helpline mobile application is available for both Android and iOS users. You will be able to:

• Search for your name on the electoral roll.

• Download your e-EPIC (electronic Voter ID).

• To check the details of the polling station.

• To apply or update voter information.

• This is a mobile-friendly way to easily verify your electoral status on the go.

 What to Do If Your Name Is Not Found?

If your name is not showing in the voter lists:

1) Please check the spelling again, or search using EPIC number.

2) If your name still doesn't show, you must file one of the following forms:

• FORM 6 - To request additions (if you are not yet registered to vote).

• FORM 8 - To correct any information errors (spelling, address, constituency).

You can submit the forms online through the NVSP portal or hand them to your Booth Level Officer (BLO).
