SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified the schedule of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. The exam is scheduled to be held in four phases from 27 April to 30 May 2026 in four weeks. SSC is going to recruit 25,487 candidates for Constable (GD) posts. The exam will be conducted in online mode, Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The SSC has published the SSC GD Constable exam date 2026 notice on its website, ssc.gov.in on 11 April 2026. As per the notice, the SSC GD Constable exam will take place on 27 April to 30 May 2026.

SSC GD Constable Exam Slot Selection 2026
The candidates can make the examination week preferences as per their convenience. The commission has provided the facility to the candidates to select their slot to appear for the SSC GD Constable exam 2026. The candidates can do the exam slot selection from 11 April (03:00 pm onwards) to 15 April (till 05:00 pm).

SSC GD Constable Vacancy 2026
A total of 25,487 vacancies have been announced by the SSC for the Constable (GD) posts in in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. Out of which, 23,467 vacancies were announced for male candidates and 2,020 vacancies for female candidates.
