KVS Recruitment 2025 Notification: CBSE (an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India) on behalf of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navoday Vidyalaya Sangathan (NVS) has invited online applications for recruitment on direct basis for various teaching and non-teaching posts including Assistant Commissioner, Principal, PGT, TGT, Administrative Officer,Assistant Engineer, Stenographer Grade-I, Multi-Tasking Staff and others. 

A total of 14967 vacancies are to be filled for various teaching and other non-teaching posts across the country. The link to apply online for these positions has been activated on 14th November 2025 at www.cbse.gov.in, www.kvsangathan.nic.in, and www.navodaya.gov.in.

Under the recruitment drive, a total of 14967 vacancies will be recruited for various teaching and other non-teaching posts across the country.

KVS Recruitment 2025 Important Dates

The online application link will be activated from November 14, 2025. December 04, 2025 is the kvs recruitment 2025 last date to apply  for the recruitment drive. Candidates having requisite educational qualification are advised to follow the table given below to apply for these positions-

 KVS Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria 

The CBSE has released the indicative recruitment notification for the various Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. The detailed notification will be available on the official website on November 14, 2025 when the link will be activated to apply online. As per the earlier notification released by KVS, below are the detailed eligibility criteria for the various posts-

Educational Qualification:

PGT - Two-year integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the subject concerned OR Master’s Degree. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

PRT - 12th with 50% marks or its equivalent and 2-year diploma certificate in basic teachers’ training  Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). Or Graduation with atleast 50 marks and D.EL.ED. Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India. Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English media.

TGT - Four Years integrated degree courses of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% Marks in the Concerned subjects/Combination of subjects and in aggregate and B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi Knowledge of Computer Application.

PGT (Computer Science)- 1. M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) / MCA from a recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks. OR
M.E. or M. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks.
2. B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks OR
Three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognizedInstitution/University with at least 50% marks OR
Four years integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution/University including B.Ed. component.

KVS Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

Under the selection process for various Teaching and Non-Teaching positions, there will be two tier examinations followed by Interview/Skill Test for the posts. The merit list will be prepared by giving weightage of 85% and 15% to the marks obtained by candidates in Tier-2 and Interview respectively.

As per the indicative notification released, a total of 14967 Non-Teaching and Teaching positions are to be filled in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya  Vidyalaya across the country.
