CIL MT Result 2026: Coal India Limited is expected to release the Management Trainee result shortly on its official website. CIL had recently conducted the written exam for Management Trainee posts on August 24, 2026, across the country. Under the recruitment drive, the authority is set to recruit a total of 660 Management Trainee posts in different disciplines including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, System, E&T, Geology, Industrial Engineering, Rajbhasha, & Company Secretary. Coal India Limited has not mentioned the exact release date on its official website; as per the notification and media reports, the result will be available to download shortly on the official website. CIL had conducted the written exam on August 24 and released the provisional answer key with a deadline to raise objections till September 03, 2026. Once released, candidates will be able to download the result pdf on the official website www.coalindia.in, under the "Career with CIL" tab.

What's Next After CIL MT Result 2026?

As per the selection process for the Management Trainee posts, candidates who will obtain the category-wise minimum qualifying marks will be called for the next round. All the shortlisted candidates and get positioned in the merit list will have to appear for the Document Verification (DV) and Initial Medical Examination (IME) round. Candidates will have to undergo the detailed document verification round to verify all the documents submitted during the online application, including educational, experience, category, and others.

CIL MT Result 2026: Notice For Appearing Candidates 

On September 24, CIL has released a short notice for candidates who have applied for the Recruitment of Management Trainees through a Computer-Based Test, i.e. “Appearing Candidates”. As per the short notice released, candidates applied under the “Appearing Candidates” category are required to upload their Final Marksheet/Pass Results/Provisional Certificate as proof of meeting the prescribed qualification and eligibility through their Individual Login Portal; till October 08, 2026.
