BPSC Bihar TRE-4 Notification 2026: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the online application process for the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 4.0 today September 25, 2026. Under this recruitment drive a total of 32,388 teacher posts would be filled in primary, middle, secondary and senior secondary schools in Bihar. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications through the official BPSC website at bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

BPSC TRE-4 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depends on the teaching level. Check the detailed eligibility criteria below.

1. Educational Qualification-

• Primary Teacher: Candidates must have passed Class 12 along with the prescribed D.Ed, JBT or B.El.Ed qualification and CTET/BTET Paper-I. 

• Middle School Teacher: Candidates must have completed graduation with B.Ed/B.El.Ed and CTET/BTET Paper-II is required.

• Secondary Teacher: Candidates must have done graduation along with B.Ed/B.El.Ed and STET Paper-I requirement.

• Senior Secondary Teacher: Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with B.Ed/B.El.Ed and STET Paper-II is required.

2. Age Limit- 

• The minimum age is 18 years for Primary and Middle School Teacher posts while the maximum age is 37 years.

• The minimum age is 21 years for Secondary and Senior Secondary Teacher posts while the maximum age is 37 years.

• Age relaxation would be provided as per the rules and regulations.
