The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Selection Commission (BPSSC) SI Prohibition exam was successfully conducted today July 12, 2026 across 38 cities at 515 exam centres. The examination was held in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Bihar Police SI Prohibition Exam Pattern 2026 

The Bihar Police SI preliminary CBT exam consisted of a total of 100 multiple choice questions consisting of 200 marks. The test  included questions from sections such as General Awareness and Current Affairs. Candidates were allotted 2 hours to complete the examination. The Bihar Police SI Prohibition exam consists of 4 stages. Candidates have to appear for the preliminary exam first followed by a descriptive Mains Exam Those who clear this stage will be Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who qualify the Bihar Police SI Prohibition Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination. The mains exam is of Descriptive Nature testing  knowledge on a wide  range of subjects such as General Hindi and General Studies Subject with  a higher difficulty level. After clearing the mains stage, candidates will have to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification and other stages as prescribed by BPSSC.
