The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Selection Commission (BPSSC) SI Prohibition exam was successfully conducted today July 12, 2026 across 38 cities at 515 exam centres. The examination was held in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The examination was conducted in the computer based mode (CBT) which included 100 questions from 2 major subjects such as General Awareness and Current Affairs. Through this recruitment drive the commission aims to fill 78 Sub Inspector Prohibition Posts. Bihar Police SI Prohibition Exam Pattern 2026 

The Bihar Police SI preliminary CBT exam consisted of a total of 100 multiple choice questions consisting of 200 marks. The Bihar Police SI Prohibition exam consists of 4 stages. Candidates who qualify the Bihar Police SI Prohibition Preliminary Examination will be shortlisted for the Mains Examination.
