The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar, has released an official notification for the written exam and E-admit card for recruitment through Advertisement No. 03/2025. The examination will be held for recruitment to the posts of Prohibition Constable, Warder and Driver Constable in various departments of the Government of Bihar. This recruitment drive will fill up 4,236 vacancies.
The CSBC Bihar Police Constable written exam will be conducted at the examination centers in all 38 districts of Bihar in various shifts on June 14 and 17, 2026. The candidates will be able to download their E Admit Card from the official CSBC website in accordance with the schedule mentioned in the notification. As per the notice, the exam city intimation slip would be released on June 1, 2026, and the admit cards would be released on June 8 and June 11, 2026, for the examination dates.

Bihar CSBC Police Constable Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (intermediate) examination from any recognized board in India for the posts of prohibition constable, jail warder, and mobile squad constable. In addition, for mobile squad constable posts, they should possess a valid driving license on or before 26 September 2025.
2. Age Limit
For prohibition constable, jail warder, and mobile squad constable posts, the minimum age requirement is 18 years, and the maximum age depends on the respective categories candidates belong to.
