The following is the marking scheme for NEET UG 2026 exams

(i) Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)

(ii) Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

(iii) Unanswered: No mark (0)

The following options are available to reset Password

a. Using the Security Question & its Answer you have chosen during Form filling .

b. Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No./Email address

c. Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.

a. During online form filling, the candidate will be required to choose a password and a security question and its Answer. The candidate is advised to record/remember the password for all future logins.

b. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to log in directly with their respective system-generated Application Number and the chosen Password.

c. Candidate is advised not to disclose or share their password with anybody. Neither NTA nor NIC will be responsible for the violation or misuse of the password of a candidate.

d. Candidate can change his/her password after login, if desired. e. The candidate is advised to log out at the end of their session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered with or modified by any unauthorised persons

The information to be filled in the Online Application Form such as name of Father/Mother and Candidate with correct spellings / Aadhaar Card/Passport number/ PAN Card number/ Date of Birth certificate/ Class X, XII Marks Sheet/Certificate/ Address proof/Mobile Number, email id, etc. may be kept ready. 

To avoid the need for submitting additional documents, candidates may consider using their own Aadhaar Card as the mode of Identity verification while filling the online application form.

The NEET (UG)-2O26 scores and merit list be applicable for admissions to MBBS programmes. Scores will also be applicable for BDS and BVSc & AH courses. NEET UG 2026 will also be applicable for BAMS, BITMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also apply to admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homoeopathy

This year, NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026. The exam will be held in 13 laaguages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, ftraJabi, Tanil, Telugu, aad Urdu.

NEET UG 2026 registrations have now commenced. Candidates eagerly awaiting the release of the application form can visit the official website to apply. The last date for candidates to apply foe NEET UG 2026 is March 8, 2026. 

NEET UG exam 2026 will be conducted in English and other Indian languages. the centres will be allotted to students based on the language choaed. the exam centres for each medium is provided below.

Along with English, NEET UG Question Papers will be available in different Indian Languages. The preference for language must be filled out in the NEET UG 2026 application form. The medium of the exam is given below

NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in the Pen and Paper Mode. • Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify for NEET (UG)
• The NRI and OCI Applicants/Candidates have to upload a Certificate from the concerned Indian Diplomatic Mission in the country of their residence in support of their claim as an NRI/OCI Candidate, along with their online Application Form and retain the original of such document for producing it at the time of Counselling / Admission to the Courses.

NEET UG 2026 registration fee is to be submitted online via Net Banking, Credit/ Debit cards or UPI Facilities. The category wise fee details from 2025 is given below

Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents in their NEET UG applications.

• Scanned Images of Candidate’s recent Passport-size Photograph
• Signature
• Left and Right hand Fingers and Thumb impression
• Citizenship Certificate (if applicable)

• Class X Marksheet and Class X Passing Certificate or equivalency certificate(s) for conversion of CGPA/Grades, in percentage as also duly indicating DOB and PwBD/PwD Certificate (wherever applicable)

NTA will likely begin the NEET UG 2026 registration process today, February 7, 2026. To register for the exams, students are required to enter a valid email id and mobile number. 1. No correction facility will be given at any stage after the Registration.

2. Be extremely careful in filling in the Application Form. You can edit/modify any information before submitting each Section. Check again before pressing the ‘SUBMIT’ button.

3. Read instructions carefully about photographs, signature, Left and Right hands, fingers, and Thumb impressions, and all certificates before uploading.

4. Mobile Number and ‘Email ID’ need to be verified through OTP. Please understand that this is an essential step.

Choose the Question Paper ‘Medium’ carefully, as it cannot be changed at a later stage
