The scheme leaves out individuals who are already getting such benefits as Yuvashree so that there is targeted assistance.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for the Banglar Yuva Scheme?

Applicants of Banglar Yuva Sathi should have a strict residency, age and educational requirement as mandated by the government.

Should have attained the age of 21-40 years on date of application.

A permanent resident of West Bengal and with valid proof.

Cleared Class 10 (Madhyamik or equivalent) of reputable boards such as WBBSE, CBSE or ICSE.

Not employed, no full time or part time job.
Exclusions: Yuvashree Arpan/ Yuva Utsaha receivers, non-residents or below Class 10 level. Students or scholarship beneficiaries are still eligible in case they are unemployed. Limits that apply in family income are not available and self-declared unemployment is mandatory.
How to Apply for this Scheme?
Banglar Yuva Sathi 2026 Applications Applications are taken in the primary offline through Duare Sarkar camps between February 15, 2026, and online alternatives can subsequently be followed.
Offline Application (Duare Sarkar Camps):

Make visits to your constituency, municipality, or office of youth services (Feb 15-26, 2026).

Get and complete Form-A, Self-Declaration Form, and bank mandate form.

Late entries will be rejected; no acknowledgment slip will be given.
Online Application (Portal based):

Go to banglaryuvasathi.gov.in and create an account with mobile number and OTP.

Full profile containing personal information, education levels, and bank data (Aadhaar-seeded account is obligatory).

Scans, preview, and submit documents and record the reference ID.

Processing, in rural areas, is done by the Block Development Officers (BDOs); in urban areas, it is done by the municipal authorities.
