India-Egypt Joint Military Exercise: The 11th meeting of the India-Egypt Joint Defence Committee (JDC) was held in Cairo from 20 to 22 April 2026 to further deepen their defence cooperation under the Strategic Partnership (2023) and MoU on Defence Cooperation (2022). On the sidelines of the meeting, the first-ever Navy-to-Navy staff talks were also held.
The Indian delegation was led by Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) Amitabh Prasad and senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the armed forces, while the Egyptian delegation was represented by senior officials from its Ministry of Defence and armed forces.

During the meeting, both countries agreed on a Forward-Looking Defence Roadmap (2026–27) focusing on expansion of military-to-military engagements, intensification of joint training exercises, enhancement of maritime security cooperation, increasing scale and complexity of military exercises, and strengthening defence production and technology collaboration.

It is conducted annually on a rotational basis to enhance interoperability in desert and semi-desert terrain. It was started in 2023.
- Exercise Cyclone-IV (2026), the fourth edition of this joint military exercise between India and Egypt was conducted from 9 to 17 April 2026 in Anshas, Egypt.

Exercise Desert Warrior is a bilateral exercise conducted between the Indian Air Force and the Egyptian Air Force.
The exercise aims at improving interoperability and enhancing operational cooperation between the air forces of both countries.
