SBI Clerk Exam Date 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) is going to conduct the Preliminary examination for Clerk recruitment on 16 September 2026 in online mode. The Bank has announced the exam date on its official website sbi.bank.in under the current opening section of the recruitment. The candidates who have applied for the recruitment must gear up their preparation level now as the exam is around the corner. The SBI will release the admit card at least 4 days before the examination i.e. on 12 September. The candidates will be able to download their call letters through their login credentials.

SBI Clerk Exam Mode 2026
The SBI will conduct the exam in online mode i.e. Computer Based Test is conducted. The Prelims as well as Mains examination is conducted in the online mode. The candidates will be provided with desktops at the designated examination centers to complete their test.
SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
The SBI Clerk Prelims exam consists of 100 objective-type questions which are divided into three sections including English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual tests OR for aggregate score. Section wise marks will not be maintained.
