On May 8, 2026, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) officially declared the results for the Section Controller (CEN 04/2025) Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Section Controller Cut-Off 2026 along with the CBT results for CEN 04/2025 on 08 May 2026. Candidates can download the category wise cut marks through the RRBs official website. 

This is in continuation to the CBT exams conducted on 11-12 Feb 2026, which shortlisted candidates for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).

RRB Section Controller Cut Off 2026 Out

The cut-off is different for various RRB zones and categories (out of 100 normalized marks). For instance:

  • RRB Ahmedabad (UR): 93.43, OBC: 88.87, EWS: 88.85

  • RRB Kolkata (UR): 96.30, SC: 92.21, OBC: 94.33

  • RRB Prayagraj (UR): 97.31, SC: 90.98, OBC: 95.29

For zones such as Chandigarh, zones with Highest UR will have cut-offs above 98, and there may be zones with Exacts such as ST/ESM that have cut-offs above 98.

How to Check the RRB Section Controller Cut Off 2026?

  • Go to the regional RRB website (e.g. rrbcdg.gov.in). 

  • Navigate to "Results" or "CEN 04/2025" and then click on the Section Controller link

  • Now  enter the Registration number and DOB and download the zone wise PDF.

  • Qualified candidates proceed to CBAT; also download your scorecard for marks and response sheet. 

  • Get ready for an aptitude examination on railway signaling skills.

Factors Affecting RRB Section Controller Cut Off 2026

The RRB Section Controller Cut-off marks plays a crucial role in the candidate selection process. This cut-off marks depends on various factors including total number of posts i.e. 368,  number of candidates who appeared in the exam and others. Thus the difficulty of the exam, the number of candidates, normalization according to shifts and reservations.

Higher competitiveness – higher cut-offs; tougher papers – lower cut-offs are the factors which are responsible for the Cut off marks.
