The NEET PG 2026 examination has officially commenced today, August 30, with thousands of medical graduates appearing for the postgraduate medical entrance examination across designated test centres in the country. The examination is being conducted in computer-based mode in a single shift.

A total of 2,42,000 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2026. The examination is being held from 9 am to 12:30 pm, giving candidates three-and-a-half hours to complete the question paper. Candidates were required to report at the allotted examination centres as per the prescribed reporting schedule, with entry-related formalities completed before the exam began.

The focus now shifts to the candidates’ experience of the paper. As the examination progresses, reactions from students and medical graduates will offer an initial picture of the difficulty level, question distribution, time management and overall nature of the NEET PG 2026 paper.

Student Reactions And Paper Analysis To Follow

Once candidates begin exiting the examination centres after the test concludes, their reactions will be closely watched for insights into the paper. Students are expected to share their views on whether the question paper was easy, moderate or difficult and which subjects or topics they found more challenging.

The NEET PG 2026 paper analysis will also cover the overall difficulty level and subject-wise weightage based on candidate feedback. Questions recalled by candidates may also be included as the analysis develops.

    • Government Photo ID Proof: Valid original ID proof like PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport, or other Government Issued ID Proof. (Digitally generated IDs saved on phone/DigiLocker will not be accepted).
