MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 4: Institute Reporting & Admission Confirmation Deadline September 7

MHT CET 2026: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced the physical reporting schedule for MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 4. Those aspirants who have been allotted seats for the first time, obtained a seat betterment, or continued to keep their allotted seats have to report at their respective institutes for completing the verification process of their admission until 7th September 2026, until 5:00 PM. 

As CAP Round 4 is the last centralised seat allocation round for Maharashtra engineering admissions, all seat allotments made in this round are auto-frozen and final. The aspirants have to undergo the online self-verification process and make a non-refundable payment of ₹1,000 towards seat acceptance fees through the official portal at fe2026.mahacet.org until 3:00 PM on 7th September 2026. The physical reporting process will follow online acceptance where candidates will have to report at their respective institutes along with their certificates of academics and category and fee payments.

MHT CET 2026: Key Rules for Round 4 Candidates

• Finality of Round 4: CAP Round 4 is the last round of centralized allotment. The allotment made in the round fresh allotment, upgraded allotment, or retained allotment shall be auto-frozen and final.

• Mandatory Physical Reporting: Candidates have to report themselves at the allotted college by September 7, 2026, till 5:00 PM along with all original documents and tuition fee to confirm their admission.

• Risk of Forfeiture of Allotment: If a candidate fails to perform self-verification, online seat acceptance, and physical reporting within the time limit, he/she will lose his/her allotted seat.

• Provisional Seat Allocation Letter and Seat Acceptance Form

• MHT CET 2026 Scoresheet and Admit Card

• Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) Result Sheet and Passing Certificate

• School Leaving / Transfer Certificate (TC)

• Domicile and Nationality Certificate

• Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate (if any)

• Income Certificate / EWS Certificate / Migration Certificate (if any)
