CBSE 2026: Integrated Learning for Future Success
These resources are uniquely designed as companions to the NCERT Mathematics textbooks. By following the same chapter sequence as Mathematics, subject teachers can seamlessly integrate computational thinking into daily classroom instruction. The curriculum is built on a CT+AI+Ethics+Unplugged Learning framework, which aims to create a generation of AI-literate learners by 2030.
The Board emphasises that these books focus on the process of thinking rather than just correct answers. Students will engage with multi-variable scenarios, step-wise algorithms, and ethical considerations like data bias and fairness. Furthermore, CBSE has announced that all previous AI courses for Class IX will be discontinued from te 2026-27 session, as new NCERT modules for classes 9th and 12th take their place for internal assessment.
