Bihar B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test applications for Instant Online Admission Against Vacant Seats close today, September 22, 2026. Candidates interested in applying for admissions against the vacant seats can register for the same until 7 PM today.
Bihar BEd CET 2026 application window to apply for vacant seats opened on September 18, 2026. It must be noted that admissions will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Candidates will be allotted seats subject to the availability of vacant seats. Seat allotment will be done only for the registered candidates who have completed the prescribed online payment process. When applying, candidates are required to select their preferred choice of college from the available vacant seats. According to the admission guidelines issued, a seat shall be reserved only upon successful confirmation of the prescribed 3,000/- seat reservation fee.

Bihar BEd CET Admission 2026: Process for Vacant Seat Admission
Students applying for admission against the vacant seats can check the admission process below.
1. Display of Vacant Seats: Vacant seats in different Colleges and subjects or courses will be displayed through a dropdown box on the CET-B.Ed. counselling portal.
2. Selection of College/Seat: Eligible candidates who have taken part in counselling shall select their preferred College/available seat from the vacant seats displayed.
3. Payment of Seat Reservation Fee on First Come, First Served Basis: After selecting a seat, the candidate must pay the non-refundable ₹3,000/- online as the seat reservation/booking fee within 15 minutes. Failing this, the seat shall remain available for selection, and students have to start the process again. The seat shall be considered reserved only after successful payment confirmation by the system. The candidate who pays first gets the seat.
4. Immediate Generation of Allotment Letter: Upon successful payment and confirmation of the ₹3,000/- fee, the system shall immediately generate the Seat Allotment Letter, mentioning the allotted College and necessary admission details.
5. Admission at the Allotted College: The candidate shall download the allotment letter, report to the allotted College within the prescribed period, complete verification of original documents, and pay the remaining applicable admission fee. Seat allotment confirmation will also be sent to the registered email.
6. Adjustment of Reservation Fee: The 3,000/- reservation fee shall be adjusted against the applicable admission fee payable to the allotted College, as per prescribed rules.
7. No Change of Allotted Seat: Once the candidate has selected a vacant seat and successfully paid the reservation fee, the allotment shall be treated as confirmed. No change of college or claim for another seat shall be permitted under this round, in any circumstances.
