IBPS RRB PO and Clerk 2026 Apply Online Date Extended: Check Revised Closing Date & Other Important Details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially extended the online application submission deadline for the CRP RRBs XV recruitment drive 2026. Those candidates who wish to apply for the 13745 vacancies across regional rural banks, including the Office Assistant (Clerk), Officer Scale-I (PO), and Officer Scale II & III, will now be able to complete their registration process and pay the application fee until September 27, 2026. The earliest online application form date was September 21, 2026. This date extension offers additional time for aspirants to fill out their online application forms, upload required documents, and submit the fees online at ibps.in.

Interested candidates who were not able to submit their online application for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2026 for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I,II, and III posts can now apply online as the last date has been extended. IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026 Key Highlights

The registration for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2026 started on September 1, 2026, and was to close on September 21, 2026. With the total number of vacancies increased, the last date of online application submission has also been extended. The total number of vacancies being offered by the participating banks of IBPS was 13706, which was then increased to 13745 vacancies

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to apply online for the IBPS RRB 2026 exam on the official website:-

• Go to the official website of the IBPS, i.e., ibps.in
• Click on the CRP RRBs section once directed to the homepage menu.
• Open the CRP RRB Phase XV, and look for the Apply Online link for the post that the candidates want to apply for and click on it. 
• A new window will open. If the candidate is a first-time user, they will have to register first by clicking on Click Here for New Registration and enter the basic details, such as name and contact information, to get a registration number and password.
• Once the registration has been completed, use those credentials to log in and complete the application form.
• Upload the scanned copy of the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and the handwritten declaration. Pay the application fee and submit the application form.
• Download the application form for future use.

Important Document Upload Specifications

Candidates should make sure that all the scanned files adhere to the official IBPS specification before uploading to avoid any form rejection:-

• Passport Photograph: 20 KB to 50 KB (JPG/JPEG)

• Signature: 10 KB to 20 KB (Back ink  with no capital letters)

• Left Thumb Impression: 20 KB to 50 KB (Blue or Black Ink)

• Handwritten Declaration: 50 KB to 100 KB (English text written on white paper with black ink).
