Only those candidates who will qualify in the UP Home Guard written exam will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This is an important stage in selection. Candidates are therefore advised to prepare themselves accordingly.

Candidates who are waiting for their results might also be thinking about cutoffs. The expected cutoff for the general category may be around 65-70. For OBC categories, the cutoff can be 60-65. For SC/ST candidates, the cutoff may be around 53-58. Candidates must note that these are only speculative; the cutoff will be released by the board at the time of declaration of the result.
