Rajasthan BSTC D.El.Ed Exam 2026: The Diploma in Elementary Education (General/Sanskrit) Entrance Examination 2026 (formerly known as BSTC) is scheduled to be held on 20 May 2026. The candidates who have applied for the examination must download their admit card from the official website, predeledraj2026.com. The exam will be conducted in offline mode in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted between 09:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift will be held between 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm.
The Pre D.El.Ed exam is conducted to select candidates for a two-year diploma course in elementary education to become a primary education teacher. Admission to this course is granted through the Pre-DLed (BSTC) exam. A D.El.Ed course is also mandatory for admission to the Level 1 Third Grade Teacher Recruitment.
Rajasthan BSTC Exam Shift Timings 2026
The Rajasthan BSTC exam will be conducted by the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota to select candidates for a teaching diploma course. Around 600,000 candidates across the state are going to appear for the exam, that’s why, two shifts are being organised. Check the shift timings below:

Rajasthan BSTC Exam Day Guidelines 2026
The Rajasthan BSTC admit card was released on predeledraj2026.com on 14 May. Along with the admit card, some general guidelines for the candidates have been released by the university. These guidelines are:

Entry into the examination centre (main gate) is permitted only up to 30 minutes before the examination time.

Candidates are advised to find out the location of the examination centre and the route to reach there at least one day before the examination so that they can reach the centre on time for the examination.

Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination in the following circumstances:

Candidates reporting at the centre after the gate is closed.

Candidates who do not bring their admit card.
-
Candidates who do not bring their original ID.
-
You must arrive at the examination center before the scheduled entry time so that the search and identification process can be completed on time. Delays in the search may result in disqualification from the examination, and candidates will be solely responsible for this.

The following items are to be brought to the examination centre on the day of examination:

Admit Card

Transparent ball pen with blue/black ink

One recent colour passport size photograph

Valid original photo identity card (Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, PAN Card). Photocopies are not acceptable

Transparent drinking water bottle. Candidates will be admitted to the examination centre only after their identity is confirmed on the basis of the photo identity card and after a thorough search.

No mobile phone, Bluetooth, any type of watch, calculator, log table, any communication device, any type of weapon, whitener, slide rule, geometry box, any study material, notes, etc. are permitted inside the examination center premises. The center superintendent is not responsible for the safekeeping of these items at the center. Therefore, since there is no arrangement for safekeeping of the above-mentioned items at the center, candidates should not bring them to the examination center.

Only sandals, slippers, chappals, simple footwear, low-heeled chappals are permitted for the examination. Shoes are not permitted.

Wearing of metal articles and jewellery, watches, bracelets, hats, handbags, purses/wallets, belts etc. is not allowed.

Do not believe the misleading propaganda being spread on various social media platforms regarding the examination.

If any candidate is found to be using unfair means or engaging in any irregular activity, the State Government will take punitive legal action against them as per the provisions of the State Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means of Recruitment) Act, 2022.

It is mandatory for the disabled/blind candidate to reach the concerned centre at least two days before the examination and give written information to the centre superintendent.

Candidates will be able to take the used question paper booklet and carbon copy of OMR with them only after the completion of the examination.

Important note for the candidates:

Candidates of D.El.Ed. General Course will attempt a question paper of Hindi Language only.

Candidates of D.El.Ed. Sanskrit Course will attempt question paper of Sanskrit Language only.

Candidates of both D.El.Ed. Courses (General and Sanskrit) will attempt question papers of Sanskrit Language only.

In Part D, answer the questions of Language (Hindi/Sanskrit) as per the course selected by the applicant in the application form.

Fill Roll Number, Question Paper Booklet Number, Question Paper Series in OMR as mandatory otherwise it will not be possible to declare your exam result.

Candidates will be able to leave the campus only after the completion of the examination.
