NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Registration: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 registration window today, September 19, 2026, at 3 PM. Candidates seeking admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes through MCC counselling must complete their registration within the prescribed deadline. The registration process is being conducted through the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.

The Round 2 registration and payment process began on September 15, 2026. While candidates can register until 3 PM today, the payment facility will remain available until 6 PM on September 19, as per the MCC schedule. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process and fee payment within the specified timelines to participate in the next stage of counselling.

NEET MDS Round 2 Choice Filling Continues After Registration Deadline

Candidates should note that choice filling does not close with registration. The choice-filling window will continue after the registration deadline. As per the latest MCC schedule, candidates can fill their preferred colleges and courses until September 21, 2026, at 10 AM. Choice locking will also be available during the specified period.

Therefore, candidates who complete their registration today should ensure that they also submit their course and college preferences within the choice-filling deadline.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Seat Matrix Released

For Round 2, MCC has released the relevant seat matrices, including clear vacancies, virtual vacancies and newly added seats. Reports on the Round 2 seat matrix said that 53 new seats were added, alongside hundreds of clear and virtual vacancy seats.

Candidates can check the available seats before filling their choices and consider the course, college, category and vacancy information while submitting preferences.

Who Can Participate in NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Counselling?

NEET MDS counselling conducted by MCC covers 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats as well as specified seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). Candidates eligible under the MCC counselling scheme can participate in the Round 2 process.

Candidates who are participating in Round 2 should carefully check the applicable counselling rules, seat matrix and eligibility requirements before submitting their choices.

  5. Complete the registration form carefully
  6. Pay the applicable counselling fee within the payment deadline
  7. Submit the registration form and save a copy for future reference
  8. Complete the choice-filling process within the prescribed deadline
