From February 24 to March 5, 2025, the State Education Center, which is part of the School Education Department, administered the exams for 5th and 8th classes. Participating in these tests were more than 22 lakh students from government, private, and madrasa schools throughout Madhya Pradesh. 322 centers examined these pupils' answer sheets, and over 119,000 evaluators participated in the online mark input process.

More than 2.10 lakh students showed up for the 2025 MP Board Re-Exam.
From June 2 to June 9, 2025, the State Education Center, which is part of the School Education Department, administered the reexaminations. Over 2.10 lakh students from government schools, private schools, and registered madrasas took part, including over 86,000 children in Class 5 and over 1,24,000 students in Class 8.
Previous Year Class 5th, 8th MP Board Result Statistics
Last year, a total of 1,137,387 students appeared for the MP Board 8th Class examination, out of which 997,553 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.71%. Of them, 496,384 girls passed with a higher success percentage of 89.56%, while 501,169 boys passed with an 85.94% pass rate.
With a 91.53% success rate in the MP Board 5th Class test, government schools somewhat outperformed private schools, which had a 90.18% pass rate. Private schools, however, did better than public schools in the eighth grade, achieving a pass percentage of 90.60% as opposed to 82.22%.
