GGSIPU: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has informed all stakeholders that the first round of offline counseling for its Master of Education (M.Ed.) course (Code 120) will be conducted on the next day, June 18, 2026, at the Dwarka main campus of the university. In a bid to maximize administrative efficacy, the entire procedure of seat allocation takes place at an extremely fast pace on a one-day basis, wherein seat allocations based on merit as well as mandatory document verification take place simultaneously. To ensure that there is total transparency during the process, the administrative council of the university will put up the seat matrix chart in front of the participants' eyes at the venue itself before conducting the counseling process.

For securing their provisional seat allocations, candidates need to report by presenting a compulsory draft of ₹96,000 payable to the Office of the Registrar of the University along with four passport size photos, the respective rank cards, CET admit cards, and all academic documents. Failure on the part of any candidate in this respect would instantly disqualify him/her from the allocated slot, and this will automatically go to another rank holder who stands next. For those candidates who succeed in getting enrolled in GGSIPU tomorrow but subsequently decide to change their mind due to any reason, there is an easy provision for withdrawing their admissions till June 25, 2026.

Mandatory Checklist for Candidates

It should be mentioned that the administration had already told the aspirants that it would be wise for them to come along with all the relevant original documents and the appropriate fees in order to prevent any sort of hassles during the registration process.

Aspirants must carry the following materials:

  • Entrance Fee: Bank demand draft of ₹96,000 issued only in the name of the "University Registrar".

  • Documents of Examination: Original copy of the admission card for IPU CET 2026, and the rank card.

  • Application Form & Proof of Identity: Printout of online application form, proof of date of birth certificate, along with all necessary certificates.
