HPBOSE 12th Result 2025 Revised: A new development has come forward in the HPBOSE class 12th results. As per the media sources, a significant error in the evaluation process of the HP Board Class 12th result was discovered, as a result, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) released a corrected result for the 12th class. The dispute started because of a mistake in the English exam papers that resulted in pupils receiving the wrong grades.
HPBOSE Class 12th New Result
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the updated HP Board Class 12 result 2025 after re-evaluation. The overall pass percentage has improved from 83.16% to 88.64% following corrections made by the board.
As per the revised data, a total of 76,315 students have now cleared the HPBOSE Class 12 exam, which is 5,724 more than the previous count of 71,591. The Himachal Pradesh board updated the result after finding an error in the evaluation of the English subject.

HPBOSE Class 12th Result Error
The problem started when the Class 12 English subject exam, which was supposed to take place on March 8, was suddenly canceled on March 7. The incorrect question paper bundle was opened in Chuwari (Chamba district), distributing the 12th-class English paper instead of the 10th-class one.
When the board realized the error, the exam was canceled and a new test was administered. However, a mistake in administration caused the final results to be calculated using the evaluation of the cancelled paper, which resulted in disparities in the scores of the students.

Students and teachers detected odd scoring patterns, especially in the English paper, when the results were announced. The All India National Educational Federation's former state general secretary, Dr. Mamaraj Pundir, expressed worry, saying, "It's surprising that even the topper scored only 90 in English, while securing full marks in other subjects. How is it possible for a kid who receives a 100 elsewhere to fall short of an 80 in English?"
HP Board to Release Revised HPBOSE 12th Result 2025
In order to guarantee fair results, Pundir urged the Chief Minister, Education Minister, and Board Secretary to conduct a re-evaluation. After conducting an inquiry, HPBOSE acknowledged the mistake and chose to release a revised outcome. To guarantee correctness, officials affirmed that the right answer sheets will now be taken into account.
HPBOSE 12th Result: Can I Still Apply for Re-evaluation?
The official HPBOSE website (hpbose.org) will soon post the updated results. After the revised scores are made public, students who are unhappy with their grades can still request a review or reevaluation.
