1. Kerala

Kerala is the top producer of natural rubber in India, accounting for over 90% of the country’s total output. The state has 3.84 lakh hectares under rubber cultivation, yielding around 3.70 lakh tonnes annually. About 92% of this area comes from small holdings, each averaging just 0.5 hectares.
Nearly 10 lakh rubber growers and 3.5 lakh workers are involved in the rubber industry, with over 90% based in Kerala. The state also has a strong network of rubber-related units, including those involved in compounding and crumb rubber production.
