DUSU Election 2026 LIVE: Delhi University Student’s Union (DUSU) Election 2026 voting has begun today, September 18, across Delhi University colleges and departments. Students are voting to elect representatives for four central posts: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Joint Secretary. DUSU Election 2026 voting is being conducted in two shifts, with day-class students voting from 8:30 AM to 1 PM and evening-class students from 3 PM to 7:30 PM.

The DUSU Election 2026 contest features candidates backed by major student organisations including the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), and AISA-SFI alliance, along with independent candidates. For the President’s post, Yash Dabas is contesting as the ABVP candidate, while Vijay Shankar Meena is the NSUI candidate and Ananya Raturi is backed by the AISA-SFI alliance. The university has announced that DUSU Election 2026 vote counting will begin on September 19 from 8 AM. 

DUSU Election 2026 LIVE: Voting Begins Across Delhi University

Voting for the Delhi University Students’ Union Election 2026-27 has started across participating colleges and departments. Students are casting their votes through EVMs to elect the four members of the DUSU central panel. The university has made arrangements for separate voting windows for students attending day and evening classes. 

More than 2.75 lakh Delhi University students are expected to participate in the DUSU Election 2026. Security arrangements have also been strengthened across the North and South campuses for the polling process.

Delhi University is conducting DUSU Election 2026 voting in two shifts based on students’ class timings. Students should reach their designated polling locations within the allotted window.

A total of 20 candidates are in the final provisional list for the four central DUSU posts: seven for President, five for Vice-President, four for Secretary and four for Joint Secretary.
