BSEB Compartment Exams 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the BSEB Compartment Exam 2025 schedule on the official website at secondary.biharboardonline.com. The BSEB Matric, Intermediate Compartment Exams 2025 will start from May 2, 2025. Students appearing for the exams must know the exam day guidelines mentioned below before appearing for the exams. Students will be given 15 minutes of ‘cool off’ time before the compartment exam commences to read the question paper. All students will receive an OMR sheet and answer booklet carrying their photo and personal information. Students must carry their BSEB Compartment exam admit card to the exam centres along with a photo ID card.

BSEB will hold the Bihar Board Compartment Exams for students who failed to secure the minimum passing marks in their BSEB Class 10th Matric, Bihar Board Inter Class 12th Examinations held in 2025. Announced by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) chairman Anand Kishore, a total of 52,390 students appearing for the BSEB Compartment and Special Exams 2025 can find the following important guidelines and strict rules before appearing for the examinations.
- Students must enter their prescribed exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam starts. The entry gates to the exam centre will close 30 minutes before the exam begins.
- No trespassing is allowed, and if any student is found committing any exam offence, they will be expelled for 2 years, and an FIR will be registered. In case of any exam official misbehaviour, an FIR will be lodged.
- No digital devices are allowed in the examination hall like smart watches, mobile phones, earphones, calculators, etc. Frisking of students and vetting of exam centres will be undertaken by magistrates and police personnel to avoid scope of cheating. The exam centres will also be monitored via CCTV cameras installed in every room. For any last minute assistance, a control room operating from 6 AM to 10 PM can be contacted immediately.
- In case a student misplaces or loses their BSEB Admit card, the entry will be permitted on the basis of photo identity card and verification letter, post cross-verification with the scanned photo on the attendance sheets.
- Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) has been imposed in the state for all the exam centres, which allows — to maintain peace and order in urgent cases of nuisance or danger. Centre superintendents will regularly inspect the exam centres and no person is allowed to carry and use mobile phones.
- For disabled students, a scribe will be arranged upon request, made during the BSEB compartment exam application. They will receive an extra 20 minutes per hour of exam time.
