BHU Admission 2026 Registration Begins, Apply For BA, BSc Other Courses Through CUET Score

Banaras Hindu University, BHU, has begun the registration for 2026 UG programmes for students with CUET UG 2026 scores. Applications are open until July 25, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Admission will be determined by CUET scores and seat availability for courses including BA, BSc, BCom, Law, and arts programs.

Banaras Hindu University, BHU, has started its registration process for the undergraduate courses. As it is one of the most prestigious central universities in the country. Students can apply to BHU with their CUET UG 2026 score and register online on the official website for the admission process to various UG courses. The admission link is already live and interested candidates can apply till July 25, 2026 until 11:59 pm. 

Admission based on CUET Score

To get admission for the UG courses in BHU, candidates should have a CUET score 2026. To apply for admission, students need to submit their CUET scorecard along with required documents and certificates.

Courses Offered for Admission

CUET scores allow admission to many courses offered by BHU's. Every year more than lakhs of students apply for admission, check out the few courses listed below: 

  • BA
  • BSc
  • BCom
  • Various Language Courses
  • Fine Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • Law, and other undergraduate programs. 

The BHU releases separate seat allocations for the courses which need practical exams like, Bachelor of Fine Arts, BFA, and Bachelor of Visual Arts, BVA. 

BHU Central Education Committee stated that the seat allocation process is expected to begin within a week. There will be some changes made on the admission process just to make the process smooth, and transparent

How will seat allotment be done?

The BHU university has streamlined the admission process this time. Students will be allocated seats based on their scores in CUET scores, preferred course, and available seats. This will reduce the unwanted delay and make sure that the entire counseling process is completed within the timeline

Documents Verification in Online Mode

BHU has made a document verification process to be done in online mode. Candidates' eligibility and documents can be uploaded on the BHU Samarth Portal. This will help them make the admission process more transparent and speed up seat allocation.
