The Bar Council of India (BCI) is all set to release the admit cards for the All India Bar Examination XXI (AIBE 21) today, May 22, 2026. The offline, pen-and-paper exam is scheduled to take place across India on June 7, 2026. Stay with us for the latest real-time updates and the direct download link!

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will activate the download link strictly online. There will be no physical copies sent by post. Candidates must head to the official website: allindiabarexamination.com. An alternate link may also be provided on barcouncilofindia.org.

To avoid any delays once the direct link is finally uploaded, candidates are advised to keep their login details handy. You will require your Registration ID/Application Number and Password (or Date of Birth) to access the admit card PDF.

The admit card alone won't get you inside the exam hall. On June 7, 2026, candidates must carry:

A clear printout of the AIBE XXI Admit Card.

A valid, original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport).

Blue or Black ballpoint pen for the OMR sheet.

The All India Bar Examination, AIBE (XXI) admit card will be released on allindiabarexamination.com Once active, the link will be prominently displayed on the homepage under the "AIBE XXI" notification section.

The AIBE 21 admit card 2026 will be available online. The link to download the admit card will be activated at allindiabarexamination.com. To download the admit card PDF, students are required to visit the official website and enter the login is and password.

AIBE exams are conducted annually for law graduates. In the AIBE 20 exam, a total of 1,65,613 male candidates and 86,336 female candidates appeared. A total of 1,74,386 candidates cleared the exams. An overall pass percentage of 69.21% was recorded in the AIBE 20 exam conducted in December 2025.

AIBE examination will be held on June 7, 2026. Candidates who have cleared their law exams must appear for AIBE to practice law in India. While until last year only those candidates who graduated with a law degree were allowed to apply, from this year onwards, candidates in the final year of law can appear for the AIBE exams. While the exam is not an open-book test, candidates are permitted to bring Bare Acts without notes into the exam hall. Textbooks and other textual study materials are strictly prohibited

Candidates are required to carry their admit card along with Govt. issued one Photo ID proof to their respective examination centre. 

Candidates without admit cards shall not be allowed to enter the examination centre 

The candidate is advised to visit the examination centre at least one day in advance so that they can reach the examination centre on the date of the examination in time 

Candidates should report at their respective Examination Centre by 11:30 AM 

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after 01:15 PM 

Candidates are allowed to carry only BARE ACTS (without notes and comments) inside the examination centre. 

Mobile phones, digital/smart watches, bags, handbags, calculators, electronic gadgets/equipment, papers, books, notes (except BARE ACTS without notes and comments) etc., are strictly not allowed inside the examination centre. Those found using or in possession of such unauthorised material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means are liable to be summarily disqualified 

Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the examination and without handing over the Answer sheet. 

All markings on the answer sheet must be made with a Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only. 

Candidates are advised to fill in the Question Booklet Set Code and Roll Number and all other necessary information correctly on the OMR answer sheet. Any errors or omissions in these entries will lead to the direct rejection of the answer sheet 

Candidates found cheating/resorting to unfair means by the invigilators shall ordinarily be debarred from taking the exam.
