India has recently secured the presidency of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS). This institute is a major global platform that promotes scientific research in public administration. It consists of 31 member countries, 20 national sections, and 15 academic research centres working together on innovation and knowledge sharing. India has been a member of this organization since 1998.
