OSSSC Nursing Officer Exam 2026: Check Shift Timings, Reporting Time and Exam Day Guidelines

The Odisha Sub Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) will conduct the Nursing Officer Exam 2026 on September 22 and 23, 2026. Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of the shift timings, reporting time and important exam day instructions to avoid any last minute inconvenience. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Mode across various examination centres. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 5,989 vacancies will be filled for the Nursing Officer District Cadre Group-C post under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha.

OSSSC Nursing Officer Exam Shift Timing 2026

As per the examination timetable issued by OSSSC, the Nursing Officer Exam 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Mode. On September 22, the examination will be held in three shifts while on September 23 it will be conducted in two shifts. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the examination timings and centre details before reaching the examination centre. OSSSC Nursing Officer Exam Day Guidelines 2026

Candidates who are set to appear for the Nursing Officer Exam 2026 must follow all the instructions issued by the OSSSC. They must carry all the required documents and reach the examination centre in advance to complete the verification and other formalities. Some important exam day guidelines are given below

• Candidates must carry a printout of the OSSSC Nursing Officer Admit Card 2026 to the examination centre. Entry will not be allowed without hall ticket

• Candidates must have a valid photo ID proof for verification. The ID proof should have details that were there at the time of submitting application form

• Candidates  must reach the examination centre before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card to avoid last minute issues

• Candidates must check the exam centre address, roll number, examination date mentioned on the admit card before leaving for the examination.

• Candidates must follow the instructions given by the invigilators and examination authorities during the test.

• Candidates must read the instructions provided on the question paper and answer sheet carefully before attempting the question.

• Candidates are advised not to bring any unnecessary belongings to the examination centre.
