Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC: The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Maharashtra Government has released a circular stating that the e-KYC is mandatory for all the beneficiaries under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. The applicants need to complete their e-KYC within two months from the date of the circular issued on 18 September 2025 to continue availing the benefits.
The Maharashtra Government has launched the Ladki Bahin Yojana under the name "Mukhyamantri - Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana" to financially support women aged between 21 to 65 years by providing Direct Benefit Transfer of ₹1,500 monthly.

The applicants for the Ladki Bahin Yojana can complete their e-KYC (Know Your Customer) by visiting the official website at ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. Beneficiaries are mandatorily required to complete their e-KYC registration within two months from the date of the circular issued to continue receiving the benefits under the scheme.

Applicants are required to complete their e-KYC within the stipulated time for this financial year i.e., within two months from 18 September 2025. Follow the simple steps given below to complete the e-KYC process:

You will be redirected to a new page where you have to mention your Aadhaar number and captcha and then tick the declaration box.

What is Ladki Bahin Yojana?
The Ladki Bahin Yojana is a cheme of the Mahrashtra Government to provide financial assistance to the women resident of Maharashtra to improve their economic conditions and their overall development. The scheme provides a monthly benefit of ₹1,500 or ₹18,000 yearly directly into their aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
Ladki Bahin Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Those who wish to avail the benefits under the Ladki Bahin Yojana must meet certain eligibility requirements which are given below:
- Resident: Must be a resident of the state of Maharshtra.
- Marital Status: Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned and destitute women in the state as well as only one unmarried woman in the family.
- Bank Account: The beneficiary should have his own bank account linked to Aadhaar.
- Annual Family Income: The annual income of the beneficiary family should not exceed ₹2.50 lakhs.
Who are not eligible to apply for Ladki Bahin Yojana
- Those whose combined annual family income is more than ₹2.50 lakh.
- Those whose family members are income tax payers.
- Those whose family members are working as regular/permanent employees in any Government Department/Undertaking/Board/Local Body of Government of India or State Government or are drawing pension after retirement.
- The beneficiary must not be receiving benefits under any other scheme of the government departments.
- Those whose family members are current or former MPs/MLAs.
- Those whose family members are Chairman/Vice Chairman/Director/Member of a Board/Corporation/Undertaking of the Government of India or a State Government.
- Those who have a four-wheeled vehicle (excluding tractors) registered in the name of their family members.
